Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Oakland, CA)

Bright Quill Banking Services Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for card disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with loan files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
