Financial Analyst - variance reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Ashton Banking Services Group is a regional lender in New Orleans with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of account openings and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with branch operations. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
