Financial Analyst - variance reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Amberfield Meridian Legal Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for client files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of client files and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with document review. • A relevant degree or certification.
