Financial Analyst - variance reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Highbridge Group provides savings, lending and payment services from New Orleans. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of account servicing and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
