Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Nashville, TN)

Lumen Iron Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Nashville, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
