Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Nashville, TN)

Redstone Lantern Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Nashville. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 368 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • A relevant degree or certification.
