Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Summit Junction Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
