Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Minneapolis, MN)

Redstone Clear Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Minneapolis, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
