Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Minneapolis, MN)

Amberfield Sable Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Minneapolis, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 888 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
