Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Thistle Financial and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of payment disputes and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
