Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Milwaukee, WI)

Ironwood Vale Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Milwaukee area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • A relevant degree or certification.
