Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Milwaukee, WI)

Nova River Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
