Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Milwaukee, WI)

Westbrook Meadow Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Milwaukee and nearby communities. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
