Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Miami, FL)

Stonegate Field Insurance is an insurance company in Miami with claims and service teams, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
