Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Miami, FL)

Ironwood Harbor Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Miami working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
