Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Memphis, TN)

Bluepeak Lantern Markets is a Memphis retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of pricing and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
