Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Madison, WI)

Lumen Mill Legal Group provides legal services in Madison across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 925 people based in Madison. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of intake forms and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
