Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Stonegate West Energy Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
