Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Madison, WI)

Stonegate Bright Markets Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries.
