Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Louisville, KY)

Bright Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Louisville. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
