Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Louisville, KY)

Silverline Beacon Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Louisville, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
