Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Louisville, KY)

Fernwood Basin Legal Group provides legal services in Louisville across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of client files and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
