Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Cedar Beacon Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of pipe repairs and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
