Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Knoxville, TN)

Cedar Junction Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Knoxville, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
