Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Kansas City, MO)

Harborlight Clear Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Kansas City area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of field visits and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
