Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Pine Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Jacksonville plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of customer orders and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
