Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Jacksonville, FL)

Ironwood Ember Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Jacksonville and nearby communities, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 271 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts.
