Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Jackson, MS)

Bright Partners is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 7 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
