Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Jackson, MS)

Ironwood Stone Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Jackson focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
