Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Basin Legal Group is a law firm in Indianapolis serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of trust accounts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with client files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
