Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Houston, TX)

Cedar Sparrow Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Houston area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of outage reports and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
