Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Honolulu, HI)

Amberfield Lakeside Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
