Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Honolulu, HI)

Harborlight Maple Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
