Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Hartford, CT)

Bright Amber Manufacturing makes precision components in Hartford. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
