Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Cobalt Learning Group is an education provider in Hartford serving students and families, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of family communication and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
