Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ivory Legal Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of client files and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with trust accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
