Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Silverline River Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • A relevant degree or certification.
