Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Cedar Nest Financial is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of payment disputes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
