Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Fresno, CA)

Bright Mill Civic Services is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for budget submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with permits.
