Financial Analyst - variance reporting (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Birch Energy Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
