Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Detroit, MI)

Nova Drift Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Detroit area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
