Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Detroit, MI)

Rivermark North Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Detroit area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of school calendars and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
