Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Summit Vale Financial Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
