Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield North Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Detroit, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 148 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Model the cost of meal programmes and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
