Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Des Moines, IA)

Ironwood Pike Early Learning Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with family communication.
