Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Bright Markets Partners and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 84 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of shrink and waste and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
