Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Des Moines, IA)

Amberfield Rowan Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Des Moines plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of sanitation schedules and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
