Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Summit Harbor Telecom and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
