Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood Bridge Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Des Moines focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of field visits and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
