Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Des Moines, IA)

Summit Harbor Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Des Moines, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 937 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Model the cost of outage reports and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • A relevant degree or certification.
